A MOMENT TO BE REMEMBERED

Those DAYs when I was your colleague

During this training period, I had presumed myself as a qualified auditor instead of a trainee. Due to that, I could feel the hardship of being an auditor as the work itself requires lots of determinaiton and commitment. Such an impression has forced me to think twice on whether to continue in the audit line after I graduate.

Because of joining the firm at the right times, I had been given the chance to take part in most kind of the firm's major activities other than just worked there. For instance,

1)Annual Outing
During the last annual trip, we were headed to Cameron Highlands for 2 days and 1 night. Whereas, we were hoping to travel somewhere far like Pulau Phuket, Bali,... A bit disappointed anyhow is better than nothing.

We were departing in two buses and everyone was in a good mood for a good day.

Who would ever expected that the tyres of the first bus were punctured at the half way.

Our principle of survive: Be optimistic, think about the way to relax even the trouble is around

If there is nothing we could do to fix the problem. Why don't we take a good rest first before we got another solution.

Finally, we reached our destination. (we were in second bus)

By the time they reached,it was around 5p.m. and they had just finished their lunch. You could always catch their smile when the camera is on, no matter how tired they are.

Play the game, play your part, enjoy wholly!

We got to wait patiently for the good thing.

The night would never end, if we were too playful.

Look at those drunk faces. Almost all of them get punished because of the game except me.

Everyone was eagered for the fresh fruits and vegetables.

That's the end of our journey.

2)Annual dinner
There is nothing else we could do at this formal dinner except for these three things:
a)take photos until the dinner end (Because all the girls and boys had spent very much on their dresses and make up in order to look good ---> kacha! kacha! kacha!*flash*flash*flash*)
b)enjoy for the shows
c)choose two perfect representatives for that night (a man & a woman, of course).

Performed by KPMG, Ipoh.

The theme for that night was KPMG Royale, hence, we got to select a few potential candidates and vote for the best James Bond & Bond Girl of the year.

Before that, we got a master to teach them (candidates) on how to act like a James Bond.

Here come the bond! How about the bond girl?

She was with me :)

3)MICPASS event
MICPASS games is an event where all audit firms within Penang state would be invite to participate in sports games which include basketball, soccer, badminton, beach volleyball, dart, chinese chess, carom, tug of war, hiking... (I could only remember that much :P)

Being a good trainee, I would have to support either physically or mentally for each game that my supervisor was participated in. As expected, he was the champion in basketball and chinese chess. I never realize that You could play chinese chess for well.

Other than being a supporter, I had also become one of the working committees during the hiking day. Don’t you ever think that I was so active. I was asked to show up so that it could be more reasonable for me to attend for the MICPASS dinner as such dinner was to appreciate those participants, supporters and working committees.

MICPASS Dinner was the last function for the whole MICPASS event and the theme for this year was “Retro”. As you can see some of my colleagues were actually picked their clothing from their parents' wardrobe.

The dinner was quite fun as all the audit firms which took part in MICPASS games were enjoyed themselves there. For those winners, they were toast for their victory. *Special thanks to my supervisor of bringing me there.*

Throughout this training period, I was so glad that I have met with a super nice senior. Becuase without him, I may not be able to have wider learning opportunities, take flight to work, earn more allowance or attend for MICPASS dinner. He was such a good senior that whenever I need him, he will tend to be my side. No one would dare to bully me when he is around. Nevertheless, I was not so comfortable while living in such protective environment. Like one’s say, you never learn to walk if you never fall.

Overall, KPMG has a good working environment whereby I am quite impressed about the co-operative spirit that they had built up among each others. The people are so friendly that you could easy get along with them. It make me felt that we were working in a big family.

Last Day

When all the supervisors treated their trainees at Evergreen Laurel Hotel for buffet, it meant that this was our last day in KPMG.

It still haven't end
Proposed to extend my training period for another two weeks. This is the last audit team that I was being with at DXN co, Alor Setar.

You have changed me a lot and I hope that I was not disappointing You and worth in earning those evalauation points. I felt so sorry that You got to be blamed by the manager when I made a mistake each time.

In future, You got to make your coffee, understand? Call me if anything ^_^
